A business card signed by Steve Jobs fetches a staggering $181,183 at auction

RR Auction recently closed the sale of a signed business card from Steve Jobs, a piece of Apple memorabilia that fetched an astounding $181,183. The business card, showcasing the Apple Computer name alongside the old Apple logo, is considered to be in “virtually perfect” condition. To put the price into perspective, one could purchase 181 iPhone 15 Pro Max devices with the same amount of money, although such a drastic step wouldn’t be necessary.

The allure of the Steve Jobs business card lies in its rarity and pristine state. RR Auction emphasized that only ten business cards bearing Jobs’ signature have ever been sold, with just one dating back to the year 1983 – the same year as the recently auctioned card. The card has received a PSA/DNA grade of “GEM MT 10,” denoting its flawless condition characterized by sharp corners and preserved original gloss. This level of quality is especially exceptional for a 41-year-old card.

The demand for Steve Jobs memorabilia is evident from the high prices such items command at auctions. Signed cheques from Jobs have also fetched considerable amounts in the past, indicating a strong market for collectibles associated with the late Apple co-founder. The buyer of the recently auctioned business card now possesses a unique piece of technology history that can serve as both a valuable investment and a conversation piece.
