In recent news, Amazon has secured the exclusive rights to stream one NFL playoff game on its Prime Video platform. This follows closely behind NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming an NFL playoff game exclusively for the first time ever on January 13.

On December 28, the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans faced off in a matchup that drew an impressive 29.2 million viewers.

While different reports suggest that Amazon has seen a 24% year-over-year increase in total viewership for Thursday Night Football, the NFL has remained tight-lipped about the streaming deal. Similarly, Amazon has not responded to any inquiries regarding the new partnership.
