Atlanta Vibe partners with Peachtree Sports Network as local broadcast partner

The Atlanta Vibe, the city’s newest professional sports team, has secured their first local television partner in Peachtree Sports Network (WPCH 17.2). The organizations recently announced the schedule of Vibe matches that will be aired locally, starting with a match against the Orlando Valkyries on March 21.

“This partnership will give Atlantans another opportunity to support their city’s newest professional sports team and help turn our athletes into household names across the Southeast,” said Colleen Craig, owner of the Atlanta Vibe. “The energy and excitement experienced in Gas South Arena during Vibe home matches translates well to television, and we’re grateful to Peachtree TV and Gray Television for providing our team with the platform to showcase that experience to a larger audience.”

“We are excited to bring professional volleyball to Atlanta households,” said Atlanta News First and Peachtree TV VP/GM Erik Schrader. “Atlanta’s newest pro team is now on Atlanta’s only live, local sports network, which is a win for all of us – the network, the Vibe, and Atlanta sports fans alike.”

Longtime Atlanta sports play-by-play broadcaster Andy Demetra and seasoned volleyball analyst Kele Eveland will continue to provide commentary for the Vibe’s home matches throughout the 2024 season.

Peachtree Sports Network (PSN) was launched in October 2023 as Atlanta’s new hub for Live Local Sports. PSN can be accessed on channel 17.2 over the air in Atlanta, as well as on Spectrum, Xfinity, and YouTube TV. PSN also broadcasts in Albany, Augusta, Columbus, Macon, and Savannah, Georgia.

Peachtree Sports Network now covers live broadcasts for several teams, including the Atlanta Dream, College Park Skyhawks, Atlanta Gladiators, Savannah Ghost Pirates, Georgia Swarm, and Atlanta Hustle. WANF, WPCH, and Peachtree Sports Network have also teamed up with the Atlanta Hawks to air 10 games this season.
