Bold Thief Steals Expensive Toys from Huntsville Storage Facility: Huntsville Police Seek Public Assistance

A man stole a go-kart from a business owner’s storage unit, according to a report from the owner.

The Huntsville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man who broke into a storage facility in South Huntsville and stole expensive toys. According to witnesses, the man was caught on security footage breaking into storage units two weeks ago at Firehouse Antiques and Parkway Mini Storage. When confronted by staff, he fled with a stolen go-kart and electric bicycle.

Employee Jeanette Ware described the theft as bold and unexpected, stating that it took place in broad daylight. Despite the brazen nature of the crime, the business owners and a renter were able to take photos of the man and his license plate as he drove away. These photos have been handed over to police, who are currently investigating the case.

The Huntsville Police Department has not released any new information at this time but welcomes tips from anyone who may know where the thief is hiding. The incident has caused concern among business owners in South Huntsville, who are urging potential thieves to be aware that they will be caught due to their security measures.
