Community Rallies to Help Families Affected by Tragic Apartment Fire in Delaware, Ohio


Local Business Assists 12 Families Displaced by Weekend Fire in the Tri-State Area

At 2:40 a.m. on Sunday, twelve families in Delhi Township, Ohio were displaced by an apartment fire at Glenhaven Apartments. Hailey Plumlee, who lives nearby, described seeing smoke swirling in the air outside the building.

Ally Magiliano, the owner of ASAP Custom Prints and Apparel, was alerted to the fire around 2:30 a.m. by a neighbor. She immediately sprang into action, gathering donations for the victims using Facebook. The families have lost everything in the flames and are in need of toiletries, sheets, towels, and kids items, including school supplies and clothes.

Magiliano has been collecting donations at her print shop and is also accepting items at Delshire Elementary School. The school is also gathering gift cards to assist parents with food and gas, working in conjunction with the Red Cross.

Anyone wishing to donate items can take them to ASAP Custom Prints and Apparel or Delshire Elementary School. The community is coming together to support the families affected by this tragic event.
