Antioxidants in lemons can stimulate the production of glutathione, a detoxifying agent, while the active ingredient naringenin helps reduce liver inflammation in individuals with fatty liver disease.

Consuming warm lemon water in the morning can increase enzyme activity, optimize liver function, and aid in toxin elimination through bile and bladder contractions. It is important to use lemons in moderation, especially for those with stomach issues, teeth sensitivities, allergies, or undergoing treatment for other conditions. Incorporating lemons into daily food preparation, such as in salads or mixes, can add flavor and nutritional benefits to dishes while limiting excessive fat and sugar intake.
