CVCS to Hold Health and Wellness Fair | Local News, Sports, and Employment Opportunities

Cassadaga Valley Middle/High School will host over 30 service providers today and Saturday as part of a health fair supported by the Rural Mobile Medical Unit Health and Wellness Initiative. The event will take place today, March 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturday March 23 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. This two-day event will coincide with the school’s annual school musical. The Vet Center and The Chautauqua Center will have their mobile units on site, and service providers will have tables set up to discuss how they assist the community, families, youth children, and elders.

Programs at the fair will cover various topics such as elder abuse, financial exploitation, services for youth and persons with disabilities, Emergency Services of Chautauqua County, Retina/Eye Research, Veterans agencies, SNAP, Jamestown Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit, vaping and tobacco use issues, and more. Western NY Urology will also be offering services (blood draws) at their table on Friday. The event is free to attend and open to the public, with food trucks on site both days offering lunch and dinner options. Most service providers will be available on both days to share information and interact with the public.
