Deshaun Watson Gives Chilling Warning to Steelers QB Russell Wilson

The AFC North has become even more competitive now that the Pittsburgh Steelers have signed free agent quarterback Russell Wilson. Despite making the playoffs with third-string quarterback Mason Rudolph, Wilson’s addition makes them a strong contender in the division. Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson greeted Wilson to the AFC North with a warning about the intensity of the division on his QB Unplugged podcast. Watson acknowledged the respect he has for the Steelers organization, particularly praising head coach Mike Tomlin for his leadership.

Pittsburgh’s quarterback room has been overhauled with Wilson’s arrival, giving them a strong chance to be competitive following Ben Roethlisberger’s retirement. The Steelers have upgraded from Kenny Pickett and Mitch Trubisky, as well as having an offensive coordinator who understands how to run an effective offense. Under Matt Canada, the Steelers are poised to create fear among their opponents after previously struggling with a predictable offensive scheme. Wilson’s presence has significantly changed the outlook for Pittsburgh and has put them in a strong position to contend in the AFC North.
