Dipa Karmakar gears up for the World Gymnastics Championships in Cairo

Dipa Karmakar, the world-class gymnast from India, is set to compete at the World Gymnastics Championships in Cairo, Egypt from February 15-18. After a five-year pause, Ms. Karmakar is determined to excel on the vaulting table, her sole event at the upcoming championships. Despite a right leg injury, she is confident in her abilities and has been practicing hard in New Delhi to prepare for the competition.

Her coach, Vishveshwar Nandi, expressed concern about her injury but also expressed his confidence in her abilities. He stated that although she has not fully recovered from surgery on her right leg, he believes that she will bring honor to the country with her performance. Dipa earlier shared her determination to bring success to her country and requested blessings and prayers from everyone.
