Los Angeles Afterschool Enrichment Program Welcomes Michele Broadnax as New President and CEO

Michele Broadnax, a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in fundraising, public relations, and program development, has been appointed as the new President and CEO of LA’s BEST. The Board of Directors of the LA’s BEST Afterschool Enrichment Program is excited to welcome her to the organization.

With a proven track record of success in the nonprofit, for-profit, and public sectors, Michele has demonstrated her commitment to empowering students through her efforts to advance equity in education. The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Alberto M. Carvalho expressed his confidence in Michele, stating that “Leadership matters, especially when it comes to the noble and difficult work of serving young people.” He looks forward to partnering with her as she leads LA’s BEST in providing safe and enriching afterschool programs to students in Los Angeles Unified.
