Entrepreneurship Fair at Rose Hill Motivates Aspiring Business Owners

Students at Rose Hill School in Jackson, Tennessee had the opportunity to experience what it’s like to be a small business owner through an entrepreneurship fair. The event, held in East Madison County, featured 15 to 20 small business owners who educated students on business and entrepreneurship.

Not only did the fair provide valuable learning experiences for the students, but it also offered an opportunity for school staff and families to shop and support local businesses. Many of the students expressed interest in owning their own business in the future.

Dr. Tiffany Green, Principal of Rose Hill School, emphasized the importance of understanding the hard work that goes into owning a business. She stressed the necessity of having a business plan and effectively marketing the business. By connecting students with local business owners, the event aimed to give students a realistic view of entrepreneurship.

Organizers hope that the fair will inspire more students to pursue their dreams of starting their own small business. The event served as a valuable learning experience and a way to support and promote local businesses in the community.
