FC Barcelona Secures Deal with One of the Most Promising Strikers in the World

FC Barcelona recently signed promising striker Vitor Roque from Athletico Paranaense, with a reported agreement of $32.8 million plus additional $34 million based on performance targets related to trophies and individual awards like the Ballon d’Or. A study by the CIES Football Observatory suggests that Vitor Roque is among the most promising young strikers in the world, second only to his future Real Madrid rival, Endrick.

The study took into account criteria such as matches played, age, and competition level over a year to come up with the list. Following Endrick and Vitor Roque, Brighton’s Evan Ferguson, Chilean Damian Pizarro, Argentine Jeronimo Domina, and others made it to the top ten promising young strikers in the world.

Endrick and Vitor Roque have already secured moves to two of the biggest clubs, unlike the other players who are still developing. While Vitor Roque is already part of FC Barcelona’s first-team squad under Xavi Hernandez, Endrick will join Real Madrid’s senior team next season under Carlo Ancelotti’s plans.

Opinions in Brazil are divided on which teenager is better between Endrick and Vitor Roque, but both players have the potential to shine in El Clasico if they fulfill their expected potential and showcase their talents on the big stage.
