French pizza recall due to potential glass contamination in ingredient

A product recall was issued for pizzas sold in Auchan stores throughout France due to the possible presence of glass debris in one of the ingredients. Specifically, the “queen, goat’s cheese, honey, Alsatian, Franche-Comté, and tuna” pizzas are being recalled. These pizzas were distributed by the Auchan hypermarket in Avallon between April 8 and 12.

The recall is a precautionary measure because of the potential presence of glass debris in the ingredient “oregano leaf” used in the pizzas made in-store. Customers who have purchased these pizzas are advised not to consume them and to return the product to the point of sale or dispose of it safely. Those affected by the purchase may be eligible for a refund.

In light of the recall, customers are reminded to check their purchased pizzas for the specified ingredients and to follow the safety guidelines provided. It is crucial to prioritize consumer safety to prevent any potential risks associated with the consumption of the recalled pizzas.
