Man City Defeats Aston Villa 4-1 in Full-Time Clash

Phil Foden scored a brilliant hat-trick in Manchester City’s impressive victory over Aston Villa at Etihad Stadium, putting pressure on Premier League title rivals Arsenal and Liverpool. Manager Pep Guardiola decided to rest key players Erling Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne after a disappointing draw with Arsenal, but City still managed to dominate against an injury-hit Villa side who lost goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez to illness. Foden was the star of the show, scoring 21 goals this season, while Rodri opened the scoring for City after 11 minutes.

Despite Villa equalizing through Jhon Duran nine minutes later, Foden restored City’s lead with a free-kick just before half-time. He extended City’s lead with a goal after 62 minutes and completed his hat-trick with a spectacular strike from the edge of the area. Villa put up a fight, but City’s quality shone through in the end.
