Pittsburgh’s Overbrook Neighborhood Shaken by Robbery at Sky Spa: What Happened During the Attack and How It Affected Schools in the Area

On Monday evening, in Pittsburgh’s Overbrook neighborhood, a robbery occurred at Sky Spa. First responders were alerted to the situation just before 7:50 p.m., and a female employee reported that two masked men had forced their way inside. She stated that she was hit in the head after seeing one of the men brandish a gun. Despite there being three customers and four other employees present during the attack, none of them witnessed the incident. It is currently unknown what, if anything, was taken from the business during the robbery.

Meanwhile, both West Mifflin and Pittsburgh Public Schools have announced that they will not be allowing visitors on Monday due to a reported threat.
