Saudi Arabia to Debut World’s First Dragon Ball Theme Park

A groundbreaking theme park dedicated to the Dragon Ball universe is set to be constructed in Saudi Arabia, offering fans the opportunity to experience the thrilling adventures of Goku and his companions. The Qiddiya Investment Company, responsible for this ambitious project, has provided insight into what visitors can expect from this development. Spanning 500,000 square meters, the park will be divided into seven distinct themed lands, each inspired by different Dragon Balls. With over 30 themed rides dispersed across the lands, along with five major attractions, hotels, and restaurants, guests can look forward to a truly immersive experience.

Concept art for the theme park has been released, offering a glimpse into the anticipated attractions. The images showcase renowned locations from the Dragon Ball sagas, such as Kame House, Capsule Corporation, and Beerus’ Planet. Additionally, an impressive 70-meter-high Shenron rollercoaster is set to be a focal point of the park’s offerings. This exciting news coincides with the 40th anniversary of the original Dragon Ball manga and follows the recent passing of creator Akira Toriyama, prompting a collective celebration of his influential legacy.

With the enduring popularity of the Dragon Ball franchise, encompassing various series like “Z,” GT, and Super, the theme park will provide enthusiasts with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to step into the fantastical realm of Dragon Ball in a tangible way.
