Turner leads team in constructing $300m engineering and science centre at Ohio university

Turner Construction, along with a team of American builders including Adrian Maldonado & Associates, Next Generation Construction, and the AKA Team, has been awarded a contract to construct an engineering and science building at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. This new building, spanning 189,000 sq ft, will house wet labs, dry labs, and other research spaces, making it the university’s first new research structure in over twenty years.

With a total estimated cost of $300 million, which includes design, equipment, and relocation work, this project is expected to be a state-of-the-art facility that will enhance the university’s reputation in the fields of science and engineering. Adrian Maldonado, the president of Adrian Maldonado & Associates, expressed excitement about the opportunity to create a cutting-edge building that will showcase the university’s academic excellence nationwide.

Scheduled for completion in 2026, this new engineering and science building will be a significant addition to the university’s campus, providing modern research facilities for students and faculty to conduct groundbreaking research in the fields of science and engineering.
